Delores G. Sheppard

Delores Gonzales Sheppard was born in San Antonio, Texas to James and Ora Gonzales. She accepted Christ at an early age. Delores received her formal education at Riley and Sam Houston High School. She worked at Medical Center and Turbine Support. She later went on to cosmetology school and worked at various beauty salons as a hair stylist. Delores enjoyed playing the piano for the Lord. She was a faithful servant and worked diligently wherever needed in the San Antonio area. She was a member of the Temple Missionary Baptist Church and was called to play at Mt. Olive Baptist Church when she was called home to be with the Lord. Delores was married to Clifford Sheppard, and to this union, two sons were born. Delores is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Javance (Etta), Carlos (Akiko); grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and special friend, Juzell Poole. She will be truly missed by all she knew.
