  1. Dear Dad, I want you to know that it is not lost on me that you had a Hard Life after Getting shot in Viet Nam while trying to give your medication to comfort one of your Army brothers who had been shot . I am thankful you were well enough to go to some of my High School football games . I remember we both got a lot of satisfaction from you going to my football games from Pee wee to High School . I know you remember the 58 DUMP PASS ! When they told me in 2002 you had 6 months left to live and 6 months turned out being another 16 years together I was + Happy for that! You were one hardest and toughest men I knew .Even though I knew you as well as I could before you got so sick in 2002 I am really glad I got to know you so much better the last 16 years. And helped you out with waking up and making sure you took your meds correctly you and you helped me out and I am forever grateful ! I Love you Dad. until wemeet again…. RIP

  2. To one of our Nation’s finest, My Uncle Jerry will be truly missed! “Fat Cat”, know by close family and friends, had a way about him. He always made you feel special when you were around him. I remember that I couldn’t wait to see him, because he always made me feel like I was so important to him. I knew it was my chance to brag on myself, and he seemed to enjoy every little story line in my life! I know my mother never forgave him for letting me go to S. Padre with my cousins, the week of my Little League tournament!!!! lol Many Veterans have donned the uniform of our nations military, but Uncle Jerry made me proud to wear mine! I always bragged on him(irony?) and his service. Every time I got promoted or received a medal, I was sure to let him know. Uncle Jerry…Love you man with all my heart!! God Bless! Danny and Nancy, Roxann, Brysann

  3. Thinking and praying for you all! My Uncle Jerry will forever live in my heart and I am very thankful for the memories I have of him! What a great man! I have peace knowing he is with my Daddy! God bless!

  4. Thinking about and praying for all of you. I really loved Jerry and have lots of great memories from many, many years ago. Of course I hadn’t seen him in years but tried to keep up on how he was I hope that he knew I loved him and so did Kevin. We love all of you…and have forever.

  5. Sorry for the loss of your loved one. My deepest sympathy and condolences goes out to you and your family. The Bible calls God the source of life Acts 17:24,25 so have faith that God is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died so be assured that you will see your loved one again. God sees death as the enemy 1 Corinthians 15:26 and I pray he gives you comfort in your time of need. There have been eight instances in the Bible of humans young, old, male, and female who God brought back to life on earth John 11:39-44 and he yearns to bring back your loved one who are in his memory Job 14:14,15. I pray that God of comfort gives you strength and the ability to endure during this time and that you rely on him when you feel weak. In Jesus name I pray Amen
