Josie F. Johnson-Oneil was called home to be with our Lord on February 7, 2015 at the age of 75. She is survived by her children, Armenter R. (David Wilson)Johnson, David K. (Anna)Johnson; grandchildren, LaToya R. (Bobby)Smith, David K. Huff, Damian K. Chandler, Courtney B.T. (Donald)Johnson-Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Nakiesha Garcia, Dajanae Glosson, Larenz Joans, David Keith Huff, Jr., Jhasel Madison-Huff, Aiyanna Chandler, Yanez Chandler, Jayden R. Grady; sisters, Lena Childress, Geraldine "Pinky" Johns; brother, Gene Loomis Hopkins and other numerous relatives and friends.

The Lord has called home an Angel, my best friend, my mother, my granny. You are truly missed every day. I know you are in a better place and not hurting any longer. To my beautiful Aunt Josie “2nd cousin”. You and my cousins were there for us when my parents moved back to SA in 77. Our family grew bigger and closer over the years. I thank God you seen me marry my beau, you will truly be missed! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My (Aunt) Josie: Always so beautiful and always giving wise advice to those that needed it. We are going to miss you. Thanks for loving us unconditionally. I’m sad that you are not with us, but I’m so so happy that you are with your sisters, cousins, mother and father-etc. What a great time you all are having!!!! My second cousin-Aunt Josie, you will truly be missed and know that you are loved tremendously! To Renee, Keith, LaToya, Damon & Courtney – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let you hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27). All of the family are sadden by your loss and mourn with you in this time of bereavement. We offer you comfort in Christ through God’s word. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. May God strengthen and keep you is my prayer.
Losing a loved one is never a easy thing, multiplied more so by the loss of a parent.

To my friend and Sister Rhenee’ Johnson and family, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to attend the services personally, but I prayed and commended you into the hands of the GOD of comfort and peace to keep you and I know He’s yet bringing you through.
