Julia B. Palomo

julia palomo
Julia B. Palomo, born July 8, 1935, loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Armando (Bebe). Julia will be most remembered for her kindness, her cooking, and her hair and makeup! She loved having her hair done and always had her makeup on. She always had a kind word for everyone, and welcomed everyone into her home. Through the years, her grandkids would bring their friends over, and she became “granny” to everyone. She attended all of the grandkids events, no matter what they were; she would always be in the stands cheering. Julia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Julio G. Palomo, her son Richard Palomo and daughter in law, Becky Palomo, her daughter Norma Guerrero and Mike Medina. She leaves seven grandchildren who loved her very much, and whom she adored: Salina and Neal Scott, Melissa Palomo, David Palomo, Yvonne Palomo, Paul Palomo, and Angelica Deleon. Her greatest treasure were her great grandchildren, Ezra Scott, Zayn Scott, and Aliah Palomo. She also leaves numerous family members and friends who will miss her. We want to give special thanks to Dr. Fernandez and her team, who have taken care of Julia for many years. Dr. Fernandez always took her time during treatment, and Julia would smile during all her visits with her. Her home palliative care nurse, Deanna, was always patient and kind, and amazed that Julia never complained. Also to her Vitas team, who took care of her at the end, making sure she never suffered any pain. To say we will miss granny is an understatement, but she will be remembered fondly every day. We will strive to be kind like her, and make her proud. We will ensure our children know what an amazing person she was. She will live on in our hearts forever.

  3. You treated your daughter inlaw Becky like your own daughter, you had so much love and admiration for her…she was special to you and you always had kind words to say about her. She loved you as well and never complained about taking care of you and gramps. Both of you are extraordinary women!

  4. Our granny was a one of a kind! She was patient and kind to all who encountered her. My fondest memory is coming home from school to a steak ranchero, rice, and beans. My uniform shirt was filthy, she made me change so that she could wash it. This was a weekly occurrence and she never complained. She did request that I take her to eat once I had a job! My life will not be the same without you, but I am at peace knowing that you are with Uncle Bebe. Our family was blessed to be gifted with you! Until we meet again, granny. -Sal, -Nina, -Nene

  5. Mom we missed you so much already! We take comfort in the fact that you lived a great life! We were blessed to have such a loving mom like you! Your life was like a best selling novel and each one of your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were a chapter in your best selling novel. 8. I can remember many times going to the Palomo house, and Mrs Palomo always willing to cook and feed us. Her big hugs and a beautiful smile was there every time. To the Palomo family, I will keep you all in prayer.

  9. Our Granny was truly one of a kind, she always had a smile on her face and enjoyed her life and time spent with family. I can’t remember a time when granny was mad or complaining (except when grandkids didn’t want to take a nap). Granny’s loving and caring spirit impacted so many people including many of my friends who granny treated and loved like her own. I’m glad my daughter Aliah got to spend time with you and bring you happiness and joy like you did for so many others in your life. Rip granny and until we meet again Pablito

  12. To Mr. Palomo and Family, Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs. Palomo. Reading the tribute wall she sure did leave a beautiful legacy.
