Ruth R. Garcia

Ruth Rosalie Riojas Garcia, 66, resided in Pearsall, Texas passed away on October 15, 2020 in Pearsall, Texas. Ruth was born July 8, 1954 to Manuela Lucio and Matias Riojas in San Antonio, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart on May 19, 1973. She worked for Pearsall ISD for many years until she started working in the daycare business. She became Nana not only to her own grandchildren but to all those she took care of as well. She was a woman with a love for God, who got joy from helping others. She is survived by her children Robert Garcia, Gwendolyn “Wendy” Galindo, Sharon Kimberly Briseño. Grandchildren: Darian Aguilar, Zachary Chavera, Cheyenne Garcia, David Mendoza, Dawson Galindo, Lisette Velasquez, Jose Garcia, Dustin Galindo, Jasmine Mendoza, Luke Garcia, Alejandro Briseño Jr., Nathan Garcia, Kaley Briseño, Abigail Briseño. Great Grandchildren: Aiden Ureste, Jasxper- Fox Garcia; Siblings- Robert (Grace) Riojas, Rene Riojas, Ralph (Leticia) Riojas, Abel Riojas, Mauricio (Aurora) Riojas and Feliz Moreno. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter in law Gina Garcia, siblings Juan Lucio, Nancy Martinez, Matias Riojas Jr, Antonio Riojas and Reynaldo Riojas.
