Sharon Lynne (Scribner) Romans, age 57, of San Antonio Texas passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born April 14, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas, to John and Barbara Scribner. She is survived by her two daughters, Janean Lynne (Romans) Goza and Darla Jean Romans, as well as two grandchildren, Allison Nichole Bergeron and Grayson Ryan Goza, of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Family was Sharon's passion and delight, and she spent many weekends caring for and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She loved music, creating arts as well as playing word games. Sharon was an outstanding cook who loved to entertain family and friends in her home, especially during the holidays. The family wishes to thank all of those who were there for her during her final moments. Arrangements were provided by Meadowlawn Funeral Home. A private memorial to take place on April 14th, 2016 at 7-9pm. Those wishing to attend please email mpgraham@mpgpetroleum.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Antonio Humane Society, 4804 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio Texas 78229 in honor of her beloved pet Minnie.

What a beautiful spirit and lovely woman Sharon was. I was lucky to count her a lifelong friend and through our lives though time might pass between speaking or being together, it was always as if nothing had changed and we were the same girls that met at age 14, sharing many laughs, adventures and some sadness as is the nature of life.
I can honestly say that Sharon had not one mean or ugly bone in her body. It is with great great sadness that I part with my dear and beautiful Sharon.

I remember her as a young girl since we lived four houses apart. God bless you Sharon and your family. Heaven gets another angel.
I had the privilege of knowing Sharon and working with her on and off in the apartment industry. I’m so deeply saddened to hear of her passing and pray that her family find peace in this hard time. Sharon was a good woman who made me laugh every day. There was never a day that she didn’t come to work and within 10 mins, have everyone laughing. She had a good heart. One of the biggest. I was a single parent and one month unable to pay my electric bill. Sharon came to work the next day with a bag full of change she had been saving up. She said “you need it more than I do Keri. Take it”. She had a big heart. I will miss her so much. But I know I am a better person for knowing her. She gave me strength as a single parent and showed me there wasn’t anything I couldn’t do. Thank you Sharon. R.I.P my friend……and God bless her family. Please know you are all in my prayers.

It’s coming up on 2 years. There’s not one word about me in the obit. Sharon and I lived together in harmony for 13 years. Margaret introduced us August 2003 and we were inseparable ever since. I went to California with mom for 8 days. That was the longest time I ever spent away from her. We had one argument in all those years. Sharon’s heart and eyes were as blue as the Texas sky. I miss her, miss Minnie and our life together. Thank you girls for including me in Sharon’s departure. I know Sharon would say don’t sweat the small stuff, because it’s all small stuff. Sharon loved the blues, paranormal shows and good food. She could read a person in two seconds. We had a lot of fun and laughs together. I’m proud to say she was my better half for a long time.
Sharon and I shared ❤ our love of music together. She had a beautiful body and soul with a heart of gold. Sharon you will always be in my heart! My condolences to her girls. ” Yippee kiy yay.” Carlos Valdez
