Tony Allan Rogers Sr.

Tony Allen Rogers, Sr. was born on February 26, 1977 in Long Island, New York to very proud parents, George Lee Rogers and Regina Burl Mitchell. Tony passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Tony grew up in Hollis Queens, New York with the help of his grandmother, Hester Rogers, who preceded him in death. Tony later relocated to San Antonio, Texas, where he made his home. He was a loving husband, son and devoted father who took pride in being the rock of his family. Tony's ability to make others happy, his joking and vibrant personality and loving spirit is what people always remember most. He had the gift of making you laugh and smile when you thought it was impossible. Tony will be remembered for his warm heart, tight hugs, and infectious laugh. Tony loved hard and without limits or expectations. Tony taught others to be yourself and be comfortable with being you. Tony was joined in eternal rest by his two sons, Tony Allen Rogers Jr. and Anthony Jayden Rogers. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Nakeisha Rogers; step-daughter, Ariah Warner. Tony is survived by his parents, George Lee Rogers, Regina and Andre Mitchell; grandmother, Inez Burl; as well as a host of relatives and friends who loved him with all of their hearts and who will miss him dearly.
